Short/Long weekend

We have been busy as usual. This past weekend we went to MA. Brian had a friend getting married. He was supposed to go to England for work that weekend, so we didn't think we could make it. His trip got postponed and so we all drove up Thursday evening. It was a great trip over all. On the way there, we had one of our best traveling times ever(11 1/2 hours). On Friday my parents took the kids to Drumlin Farm, while Brian and I slept. Then Brian and I went to Legal Seafood for lunch. We found out on Fridays during Lent, that is were everyone goes. We were lucky and got 2 seats at the bar, so we didn't have to wait, and I didn't have to worry about anyone smoking. Then we went shopping for Red Sox stuff, and anything that caught my eye at the Christmas Tree Shop. Brian was excited to get some Yankees SUCK bumper stickers. They have a different meaning down here, but there are enough people from New York and New Jersey that will get it. We came home and had homemade pizza for dinner, and I was in bed by 9:30. Saturday we slept in and went to Brian's parents for lunch and then bowling. I discovered that I use my middle finger when candlepin bowling and broke a nail. After bowling we went to Erickson's(it was there first day of the season) and I enjoyed some maple walnut icecream(which you can't find down here). Then we got ready for the wedding that was at the Martha Mary Chapel and the reception that was held in the main dining hall of the Wayside Inn. Sunday morning we were on the road by 7am. We made great time coming home. We got home by 7:30, which is great for daytime driving. Tuesday I had a 3hour appointment at the doctors. I failed my first glucose test(for gestational diabetes) by one point. I passed this one. I also found out I could fly to NY when we go to see the Red Sox at Yankee Stadium. Brian will be in England that week, so I would have had to drive up by myself, or had my friends drive up with me, which I am sure they would have rathered not do, but being the great friends that they are they would have. That is about all for now.
